⚠️ URGENT: Spoofed Emails Alert – Do Not Open Suspicious Messages from "Yourself"

We’ve detected multiple instances this morning of spoofed emails that appear to come from legitimate users — including messages that may look like they were sent from your own email address.

At this time, there is no evidence of any account breaches, but the emails are carefully crafted to appear real and may include links, attachments, or QR codes. These are phishing attempts.

Please take the following precautions immediately:

  • Delete any suspicious emails — especially those that seem to come from yourself or a coworker but feel “off.”

  • Do NOT click, open attachments, or scan any QR codes in those emails.

  • Report any questionable messages to IT as soon as possible so we can investigate further.

After further investigation, we have found no evidence of any account compromises. These were very convincing spoofed emails, not actual breaches.

Please continue to stay cautious:

  • Delete any suspicious emails, even if they appear to come from yourself or a coworker.

  • Do not click links, open attachments, or scan QR codes from unexpected or unusual emails.

  • Report anything suspicious to IT so we can continue monitoring and protecting the network.

We will continue to post any updates or helpful information on our blog

Thank you for your attention and for helping keep your systems secure.
